Lafayer Green

NEW MADRID - Lafayer Green, 26, died May 6, 2002, Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born Feb. 24, 1976, in Hayti, daughter of Cora Lee Guest Green of New Madrid and the late J.C. Jones.

Survivors in addition to her mother include: nine sisters, Cythnia Gail Jones Perry of Chicago, Ill., Luethena Green of Marston, Mary Weakly, Vivian Green, Chakina Green, Karen Jones Brown, Lashae Jones and Shanita Jones of New Madrid and Detra Wallace of Portageville; and two brothers, J.C. Jones Jr. of New Madrid and Isaac Leodis Green of Lilbourn.

Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Richards Funeral Home, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Earl Grissom will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
