Dale Raymer

FREDERICKTOWN - Dale Aldin Raymer Sr., 69, died July 4, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Oct. 11, 1932, in Elsinore, son of the late Denver and Willie Raymer, he was a combat veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Marcus Lodge 110 AF&AM and McDonald Chapter 128 Order of the Eastern Star.

On Dec. 21, 1971, at Glennonville, he married Frieda Peters who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Dale A. Raymer II of Sikeston; five brothers, Dareth Raymer of St. Petersburg, Fla., Donald Raymer of St. Charles, Dean Raymer of Poplar Bluff, Doyle Raymer of Elsinore and Denver Raymer of Orderville, Utah; and one granddaughter, Marissa White of Sikeston.

Preceding him in death were one sister, Opal Jane Raymer; and one brother, Darwin Alvine Raymer.

Services were conducted July 7 at Follis and Sons Funeral Home in Fredericktown with the Rev. Hugo Walka officiating.

Burial followed in the Raymer Family Cemetery at Elsinore.

Pallbearers were: Donald Raymer Jr., Jurgen Braswell, Robbie Stephens, Edward Wiedenbenner, Clem Peters Jr. and Herbie Halsey.
