Dee West
BLOOMFIELD - Doris "Dee" West, 42, died June 10, 2002, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born June 11, 1959, in Birmingham, Ala., daughter of Patricia Hoffman of Poplar Bluff and John Snyder of Fond Du Lac, Wis., she was affiliated with the New Life Cathedral in Dexter. A veteran of the U.S. Army, she served six years in Germany and was a member of Disabled American Veterans.
On Aug. 10, 1991, at Bloomfield, she married Danny West who survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to her husband and parents include: five sons, Jamie West of Springfield, Jason West and Justin West of Bloomfield and Shawn West and Bobby West of Hillsboro; four daughters, Diana Holderfield of Dexter, Susan Wilson of Jonesboro, Ark., Dawn Wilson of Bloomfield and Angela Wilson of the home; her stepfather, Charles Hoffman of Poplar Bluff; her stepmother, Patricia Snyder of Fon Du Lac; one brother, Jay Snyder of Poplar Bluff; two sisters, Lynn Robey of Dexter and Talley Savat of Poplar Bluff; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Revs. Michael Foster and Robert Dehart will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Essex Cemetery.
