Alma Helton

PUXICO - Alma Deloma Helton, 87, died July 8, 2002, at the Puxico Nursing Center.

Born Dec. 14, 1914, in Puxico, daughter of the late Walter and Lula Fann Casey, she was a member of the Puxico United Methodist Church and VFW Post 7822 Ladies Auxiliary in Puxico.

On May 8, 1938, in Puxico, she married Fred Leroy Helton who preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 1989.

Survivors include: one daughter, Freddye Traisnel of Nokesville, Va.; one sister, Rita Campagna of Puxico; one brother, Doug Fann of Puxico; one granddaughter, Jacquelyn Lindberg of Fairview, Texas; and a special friend, Norma Harmon of Puxico.

Visitation begins at 6 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Wiley McGhee of Puxico will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Puxico Cemetery.
