Inell Rhodes

MATTHEWS - Inell Rhodes, 83, died at 3:53 a.m. June 28, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Dec. 19, 1918, at Parsons, Tenn., daughter of the late Albert and Eva Bailey Moore, she was a housewife, homemaker, and member of the First Nazarene Church in Matthews.

On Oct. 4, 1937, in Kewanee, she married Charles F. Rhodes who preceded her in death April 23, 1983.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Herman Moore, and one sister, Lois Dowdy.

Survivors include: two sons, Glenn Rhodes of Crown Point, Ind., and James Rhodes of Sikeston; three daughters, Sue Plunk and Lois Morgan of Sikeston and Linda Atkinson of Bradenton, Fla.; one brother, Troy Moore of Plant City, Fla.; and 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Don Heitman, pastor of the First Nazarene Church of Matthews, officiating.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.

Pallbearers will be: Stephen Plunk, Mark Atkinson, Luke Rhodes, Lance Rhodes, Jody Vanover and Rodney Manning.
