NEW MADRID - Lucille Patterson, 87, died Sept. 10, 2002, at her daughter's home in New Madrid.

Born April 1, 1915, in Lamar, Ark., she was the daughter of the late George Washington and Margaret Burton Reynolds. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church in Lilbourn as well as an avid and talented quilt maker.

Her husband, Lawrence M. Patterson, preceded her in death on Sept. 10, 1987.

Survivors include: one daughter, Laverne Hadder of New Madrid; one son, Edward G. Patterson of Sikeston; two grandchildren, Terry Hadder of New Madrid and Deborah Jowers of Sylacauga, Ala.; two great-grandchildren, Kristi Hadder of New Madrid and Jack Edward Jowers of Sylacauga.

Two brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.

Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Richards Funeral Home.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Lilbourn with the Rev. Don Stephens, pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow in Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
