SIKESTON - Freda Pearl Murdock Becker, 82, died at 1:45 a.m. Oct. 25, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born Oct. 18, 1921, in Maynard, Ark., daughter of the late Aubrey and Valda Kidd Templeton, she was of the Methodist belief.
On July 15, 1974, in Sikeston, she married Artrue Becker who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Tom Murdock of St. Louis and Robert Murdock of Sikeston; one daughter, Peggy Chappell of Sikeston; two stepsons, Carl Becker of Washington, Ill., and Glen Becker of Columbia; three brothers, Leroy Templeton of Rodeo Calif., James Templeton of Sikeston and Ruben Templeton of Licking; three sisters, Willadean Harper and Ruth Ann Crest of Sikeston and Ernestine Maxwell of DeSoto, Texas; and five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
One brother, Johnnie Templeton, preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Rick Lasley, pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Bill Harper, Rick Harper, Leland Harper, Jimmy Harper, Paul Wayne Harper and Justin Harper.
