SIKESTON -- A Sikeston man is in custody after a search warrant was served Wednesday by the Sikeston Department of Public Safety.
DPS Director Drew Juden reported the warrant was served at 230 Alabama by the Special Operation Group.
During the search officers found a quantity of white powder that is believed to cocaine. Officers also found marijuana and cash. All were seized and are being held for evidence.
Omowale Malachi Sims, 28, of Sikeston was arrested on an active Scott County warrant for trafficking second degree, bond $150,000. Additional charges are being sought in connection to the search warrant.
Additional arrests are pending or may occur as a result of the search warrant, officials said.
