Cle Baker
SIKESTON -- Cleophous "Cle" Baker, 69, died July 24, 2002, at his home.
Born Nov. 28, 1932, in Caruthersville, son of the late Clifton and Jessie Mae Carter Baker, he graduated from Lincoln High School in Sikeston and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include: one son, Ivory Joe Baker of Detroit, Mich.; four sisters, Shirley McClellon of Sikeston and Addie Dortch, Gloria Kirkwood and Orma Robertson of Chicago; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 1 p.m. Tuesday until service time at 2 p.m. at the Freewill Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Victor Williams, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the National Cemetery in Mounds City, Ill.
