Thomas Lee
FLORISSANT - Thomas Gilbert Lee, 98, formerly of Dudley, died July 27, 2002.
Born May 31, 1904, at Pyletown, son of the late Marshal Eugene and Nancy Elizabeth Giles Lee, he had lived most of his life in Dudley before moving to St. Charles in 1999. He was a retired farmer and attended the Church of Christ while living in Dudley.
On July 25, 1925, he married Leeta Patton who preceded him in death on June 25, 1926.
He later married Lillie Edith Pettit who survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, survivors include: five sons, Robert Lee of Wappapello, Albert Vance and Marshall Lee of Pensacola, Fla., Gary Lee of St. Charles and Wendell Lee of Cushman, Ark.; one daughter, Eunice Firle of Florissant; and 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Casper Lee; four brothers, Roland Lee, Hardy Lee, John Lee and Harry Lee; and one sister, Edna Lee.
Visitation is after 6 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Dale Grissom of Dexter officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dudley Cemetery in Dudley.
