George Pullum

BLOOMFIELD - George L. Pullum, 75, died Sept. 28, 2002, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Oct. 21, 1926, at Idalia, to the late William and Anna Triplett Pullum, he had lived in Bloomfield all his life. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a retired carpenter and a member of the Beech Grove General Baptist Church.

On Sept. 27, 1947, he married Wanda Cook, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are: one son, Barry Pullum of Bloomfield; one brother, Harry Pullum of Bloomfield; two grandsons, Bill and Neal Pullum of Bloomfield; and one great-grandson, Colt Pullum of Bloomfield.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Wilma Patterson and Venita Stafford; and two brothers, Charles and Jim Pullum.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Chiles Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, where services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Revs. Lloyd Bowers and Lonnie Clubb will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Bluff Cemetery at Idalia.
