Rosemary Hitt
ADVANCE - Rosemary Eakin Hitt, 76, died May 14, 2003, at the Advance Nursing Center.
Born March 28, 1927, at Allenville, daughter of the late Robert and Mary "Louise" Deimund Eakin, she was a library assistant for Advance schools for many years. She was of the Jehovah's Witnesses belief and attended the Cape South Kingdom Hall.
On June 21, 1946, at Marble Hill, she married Thomas Hitt who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Mike Hitt of Advance; one daughter, Marsha Walker of Dexter; one brother, Earl Eakin of Delta; one sister, Ruby Mabrey of Allenville; and three grandchildren.
Two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday with Tom Kelsey, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery near Advance.
