Eula Murphy

BERNIE - Eula Louise Murphy, 82, died May 5, 2003, at her home.

Born Feb. 17, 1921, in Bernie, daughter of the late Essie George and Hattie Evelyn Bennett Bridges, she attended the Bernie Nazarene Church.

Her husband, Jessie Leo Murphy, preceded her in death in December 1952.

She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Darlene Murphy; and two brothers, Roy Bridges and Andrew Bridges.

Survivors include: one sister, Bernice Stafford of Port Richey, Fla.; and six nephews, Billy Stafford, Jack Bridges, Dick Bridges, Terry Bridges, Mike Bridges and John Bridges.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, where services are scheduled for noon Friday. The Rev. Don Well will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
