Suedell Brown

CAPE GIRARDEAU - Suedell Brown, 63, died at 10:10 p.m. Nov. 12, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

Born Sept. 26, 1939, in Lafe, Ark., daughter of the late William Edgar and Flora Grambling Puckett, she was a machine operator for the Lighthouse for the Blind in St. Louis and was a waitress for Mables Cafe in Chaffee before retiring. She was a member of the Country CB'ers in Chaffee.

On Feb. 14, 1963, she married James Robert Brown who preceded her in death on Oct. 6, 1993.

Survivors include: two sons, Michael L. Borden of Dallas, Texas, and Dennis W. Brown of Chaffee; three daughters, Caroline S. Hastings of St. Louis, Paula G. Miller of Desloge and Norma M. Wallace of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Harvey Puckett of St. Louis, Major Puckett of Poplar Bluff and Russell Puckett of Neosho; and 24 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

One son, four brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.

Visitation begins at 5 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Billy Anders will officiate.

Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery.
