Nelda Shaw

DEXTER - Nelda Lee Shaw, 76, died Oct. 24, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Oct. 12, 1926, at Bernie, daughter of the late Ralph Winslow and Ruby Kitchens Crain, she was a member of the Dexter Church of Christ.

On Dec. 28, 1943, at Piggott, Ark., she married Bob Shaw who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Robert "Pete" Shaw of Dexter and James Rand Shaw of Belleville, Ill.; one brother, Larry Crain of Malden; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at the Dexter Church of Christ with Jim Faughn and Dale Grissom officiating.

Burial will follow in Sadler Chapel Cemetery near Dexter.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
