SIKESTON -- James Lee "Jim"" Jabas, 60, died Oct. 23, 2006, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. Born Aug. 13, 1946, in Greenbay, Wis., the son of John J. Jabas of Greenbay and the late Betty Klug Jabas, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Germany. SIKESTON -- James Lee "Jim"" Jabas, 60, died Oct. 23, 2006, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born Aug. 13, 1946, in Greenbay, Wis., the son of John J. Jabas of Greenbay and the late Betty Klug Jabas, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Germany. He was a member of TOPS Chapter 1142 and had worked in construction before his retirement.

On Nov. 28, 1970, in Greenbay, he married June Jordan who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Amy Jabas of Greenbay; two sisters, Jeanne Bain of Greenbay and Carol Wibralski of Cambridge, Wis.; and one grandson, Brandon Lee Cochran of Greenbay.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. The Rev. A.J. Wollenburg, pastor of Concordia Lutheran Church in Sikeston, will officiate.

Burial with full military honors will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
