ADVANCE - A single-vehicle accident resulted in injuries to the car's driver. At 11 p.m. Saturday, nine miles east of Advance on County Road 261 in Cape Girardeau County, a vehicle driven by Kelly Moore, 23, of Chaffee, rounded a curve and ran off the roadway. ADVANCE - A single-vehicle accident resulted in injuries to the car's driver.

At 11 p.m. Saturday, nine miles east of Advance on County Road 261 in Cape Girardeau County, a vehicle driven by Kelly Moore, 23, of Chaffee, rounded a curve and ran off the roadway. The vehicle then overturned, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol's report.

Moore, was moderately injured in the accident and taken to Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau by private vehicle.

RANDLES - Two persons were injured in an accident at 2:50 p.m. Saturday.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on Route P, one mile north of Randles in Cape Girardeau County when a southbound vehicle driven by Daniel F. Stucker, 25, of Essex went off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle overturned, striking a utility pole.

Stucker and a passenger in the car, Timothy Brown, 30, of Mounds, Ill., received minor injuries. They was taken by ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment.

SIKESTON - A Poplar Bluff resident was injured in an accident Saturday.

At noon Saturday on Highway 114, three miles west of Sikeston in Scott County, a northbound vehicle driven by Lula Brown, 79, of Salsbury, Tenn., traveled into the path of an eastbound vehicle driven by Leo Mulloz, 21, of Poplar Bluff, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported. Mulloz received minor injuries in the accident and was taken to Missouri Delta Medical Center for treatment.
