B&B Boats and Bikes adds Yamaha to available models

SIKESTON - For Bootheel residents with a yen to enjoy the great outdoors, their means of transportation can be found at B&B Boats and Bikes. And today, they have even greater selection.

Owner Bryan Bedell has added another line to his already filled showroom at 110 Missouri Ave. In 2002, Bedell became the authorized local dealer for Yamaha

"Yamaha is a good product," explained Bedell about the expansion of his lines, which already included Polaris and Honda. "It is a good, dependable machine with something for all sizes, from kids to adults."

To make his point, Bedell points out the newest model by Yamaha, the Raptor, a sport all-terrain vehicle. B&B Boats and Bikes can provide a Raptor sized for adults or children.

In addition to sport ATVs, Yamaha makes ATVs customers use as utility vehicles. There are Yamaha motorcycles including dirt bikes, street bikes and the increasingly popular cruisers. The additional lines have been welcomed by his customers and Bedell said they appreciate the wide selection now available. "Yamaha is ranked No. 2 nationally, right behind Honda with Polaris ranked No. 3. We have all three right here," he pointed out.

Spring with its increasingly warm weather and sunny days is the time many customers consider buying motorcycles, Bedell said. To meet the demand, Bedell and his staff have lined up and shined up their motorcycles and arranged for financing including zero down with 3.9 percent financing on the Yamaha models.

The low financing makes the vehicles even more attractive, according to the businessowner, who explained that some commuters can pay for their purchases with what they save in gasoline.

B&B Boats and Bikes also offers all the parts and accessories to go with the vehicles. Customers can select helmets for motorcycles from the shelves at the front of the store or pick up camouflage gear for hunting at the back of the showroom.

In addition to the bikes, B&B carries boats, outboard engines, trailers and accessories such as tubes and ski equipment. Boat equipment lines available are Honda Marine, Mercury outboard motors, Alumacraft bass and fishing boats and War Eagle boats.

"We try to keep on hand just about anything you might need for bikes or boats," said Bedell. "If there is something a customer wants and we don't have it, we can order and have it on hand by the next day."

B&B provides services on all makes and models of boats and bikes. Bedell emphasized their technician is factory-trained.

B&B Boats and Bikes is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
