PARMA - Geneva Lynn Parker, 83, died at 10:30 p.m. Feb. 18, 2005, at the Miner Nursing Home.
Born April 21, 1921, in Dyersburg, Tenn., to the late John and Maggie Stewart, she was a longtime secretary at the Parma Elementary School and a member of Business and Professional Women of Parma.
On June 9, 1942, at Kennett, she married Laut Parker, who preceded her in death on Jan. 15, 1993.
Also one brother, Johnny Stewart, and two sisters, Vera Bagby and Dean Lehr, preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Anita and LaVern Williams of Sikeston; one sister, Modean Webb of Clinton, Okla.; and two grandchildren, Justin Lynn Williams and Gina Genea Williams of Sikeston. Also surviving are a special friend, Marva Womack of Chaffee, and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Malden. The Rev. Keith Garland of the Dexter will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Justin Williams, Bill Nance, Chris Nance, Jeff Womack, James Vaughn, Oscar Sapp and Raymond Dickerson.
Burial will follow under the direction of Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Parma.
