Norma Blankenship

ST. CHARLES - Norma Blankenship, 92, formerly of Dexter, died Feb. 17, 2005, at the National Health Care Center in St. Louis.

Born Aug. 13, 1912, in Campbell, daughter of the late John and Mertie Miller Lynn, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter. She lived in Dexter from 1946 until moving to St. Charles, where she resided for the past 19 months.

On June 30, 1937, she married J.C. Blankenship who preceded her in death on March 25, 1988.

Surviving are one daughter, Mildred Borders of St. Charles; and three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from noon today until service time at 2 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. James Black of Malden will officiate.

Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell.
