Helen Call

PORTAGEVILLE - Helen F. Call, 86, died April 8, 2003, at the Portageville Nursing Center.

Born Nov. 23, 1916, in New Madrid County, daughter of the late Henry and Berta Smith Hart, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Portageville.

On Nov. 12, 1932, in Portageville, she married Lynnwood Call who preceded her in death on May 7, 1989.

Survivors include: one daughter, Patricia Estes of Portageville; one son, Gary Call Sr. of Portageville; and 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Lynnwood Call on June 14, 2001; one brother, James Hart; and four sisters, Maggie Bartholomew, Thelma Robbins and two in infancy.

Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Thursday at DeLisle Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Mark Inman will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Billie Estes, Timothy Estes, Michael Brands, Mark Brands, Mark Robbins and Leslie Estes.
