Charlotte Mims

SIKESTON -- Charlotte Keller Mims, 45, died April 7, 2003, at her home in Perryville.

Born June 6, 1957, in Kewanee, daughter of Harold Mims of Hernando, Miss., and Barbara Gates Mims of Sikeston, she was a certified chemist. She worked for Missouri Delta Medical Center for 27 years and was currently employed by Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville.

Survivors in addition to her parents include: one son, Kevin Keller of Sikeston; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Sherman and Kay Mims of Hernando and Brent and Denise Mims and Derek and Terra Mims of Sikeston; two nephews, Gage Lasser and Alex Lasser of Sikeston; four nieces, Stacy Gann of Bentonville, Ark., Courtney Mims of Hernando and Dakota Mims and Abby Green of Sikeston; and one great-niece, Zachary Gann of Bentonville.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. David Jackson, associate pastor of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Matthews Cemetery at Matthews.
