Helen Williams
RISCO - Helen Maxine Williams, 74, died April 26, 2003, at the Methodist North Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn.
Born May 31, 1928, in Alton, daughter of the late George and Chloe May Murry McClanahan, she was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Risco.
On July 22, 1942, in Pocahontas, Ark., she married Eugene Williams who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: six daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Ken Fraley of Memphis, Doris and Robert Griffin of Sheridan, Ark., Glenda and Richard Case of Risco, Janet and Robert Woods of Caledonia, Sharon and Curt Musgraves of Campbell and Angela and Tommy Kirksey of Lakeland, Tenn.; two sons, Terry Williams and Danny Williams of Risco; two sisters, Lorene Whitworth of Peoria, Ill., and Virginia Vest of Madison, Ill.; and 25 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, Doyle McClanahan and Noel McClanahan, preceded her in death.
Visitation begins at 6 p.m. today at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Gene Lancaster will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery at Malden.
