Evelyn Bradley

CHARLESTON - Evelyn Joann Bradley, 63, died at 1:15 a.m. April 16, 2003, at her home.

Born July 19, 1939, in eastern Tennessee, daughter of the late Bert Conder and Jennie Thomas Smith, she lived in Mississippi County most of her life and worked for Ed Marshall Farms for many years.

On Sept. 11, 1980, she married James Bradley who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: four sons, Jeffrey Evans of Glen Allen, Va., Daniel Evans of Cumberland, Ind., Harry Gordon of Charleston and John W. Gordon of Peoria, Ind.; two daughters, Jennifer G. Evans of Cumberland and Dana M. Davis of Charleston; two brothers, Doye Smith of Sikeston and Danny Smith of Wyatt; and 13 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Troy Smith.

Graveside services were conducted at 11 a.m. today at Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston. Bill Bradley, minister of the Church of Christ in Morley, officiated.

McMikle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
