Laura Thomason

MARSTON - Laura Beatrice Thomason, 92, died April 3, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Dec. 27, 1910, in Newport, Ark., she was the daughter of the late William Henry and Alice Hinton Scudder.

On Nov. 26, 1927, she married Don DeWitt Thomason Sr. who preceded her in death on May 14, 1986.

Survivors include: three sons, Don Junior Thomason of Lilbourn and Malvorn "Red" Thomason and Allen Thomason of Marston; two daughters, Joyce Alexander and Lottie Joyce of Lilbourn; and eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were two daughters, four brothers, four sisters and one great-granddaughter.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Lilbourn, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Travis Lambert, pastor of the Lilbourn General Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
