Carl Roach
SIKESTON - Carl Roach, 49, died Aug. 21, 2002, at his home in Sikeston.
Born March 18, 1953, at Benton, Ky., son of Shirel Roach and Nell Alexander McDonald of Paducah, Ky., he was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a member of the Murray Lane Baptist Church and was an avid hunter and bowler. He had been employed at Noranda Aluminum until ill health forced his retirement.
On Aug. 25, 1984, at Las Vegas, Nev., he married Diane Martin Rister who survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to his wife and parents include: two sons, Alex Roach of the home and Blake Rister of Cape Girardeau; three daughters and sons-in-law, Amie and Mike Blechle of Jackson, Natalie and Chris Manley of Cape Girardeau and Kristi and Eric Ross of Sikeston; four sisters, Anne Bing of Union City, Tenn., Carla Boyd and Tonya White of Paducah and Debbie Roach of Ripley, Tenn.; and five grandchildren, Greggory Crider of Sikeston, Madison Blechle and Logan Blechle of Jackson, and Bailey Manley and Jackson Manley of Cape Girardeau.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Kelley Grubbs, pastor of Murray Lane Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery with full military rites.
Pallbearers will be: Bud Adams, John Fodge, Chris Manley, Eric Ross, Mike Blechle and Tony Wrather.
