Helen Sailers

HARRISBURG, Ill. - Helen V. Sailers, 92, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died at 6:05 p.m. April 20, 2003, at the Saline Care Center.

Born Jan. 16, 1911, in Kewanee, Mo., daughter of the late Harvey L. and Mattie Brasher Sizemore Sr., she graduated in 1927 from Kewanee High School. She was a member of Christ Methodist Church, Lynds Chapter No. 1 Order of the Eastern Star in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Her husband, Robie F. Sailers, preceded her in death.

Survivors include: five sisters, Christine Hoskins of Polo, Mo., Sybil Knight of Harrisburg, Lucille Martin of Bunker Hill and Virginia Martin and Betty F. Smith of Fort Myers, Fla.; one brother, H.L. Sizemore Jr. of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; and one stepson, three stepdaughters and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were conducted at 11 a.m. today at the sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg with the Rev. Jack Hood officiating.

J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home of Harrisburg was in charge of arrangements.
