Harold Stockdale

NEW MADRID - Harold Stockdale, 85, died Nov. 19, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Oct. 19, 1917, in Ewing, Ky., son of the late Harlan and Addie Stockdale, he retired as an electrical engineer and was a member of the First Baptist Church in New Madrid.

On July 11, 1958, in New Orleans, La., he married Faye Flowers who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three sons and one daughter-in-law, Harold Wayne Stockdale of Conroe, Texas, Gary L. and Missy Conyers of Bartlett, Tenn., and Buddy Conyers of Drummonds, Tenn.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Terri and Jim Neill of Ladd, Ill., and Marsha and Corbet Adams of Bartlett; and 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Richards Funeral Home.

Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in New Madrid with the Rev. Gary Henson, pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
