Ester Hartwick

SIKESTON - Ester May Hartwick, 62, formerly of Bertrand, died at 8:20 a.m. April 1, 2003, at the Clearview Nursing Center.

Born Aug. 11, 1940, in Dell, Ark., daughter of the late Russell R. and Estell O. Manes McMinn, she had been a waitress and was of the Protestant belief.

Survivors include: two sons, Michael Hartwick of St. Louis and John Kevin Hartwick of Bertrand; one daughter, Linda Oakley of Sikeston; two brothers, Raymond McMinn of San Antonio, Texas, and Russell Ray McMinn of Jacksonville, Fla.; five sisters, Dorothy Mooneyhan of Morehouse, Louise Grissom of Blytheville, Ark., Geraldine Blevins of Ococee, Fla., and Bonnie Keith and Brenda Rodery of Sikeston; and four grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren.

One brother preceded her in death.

Visitation is from noon Thursday until service time at 2 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Kelley Grubbs, pastor of Murray Lane Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
