GRANITE CITY, Ill. -- Edwin Health "Toby" Baehr, 72, formerly of Lilbourn, Mo., died at 9 p.m. Nov. 2, 2007, at the Rosewood Care Center in Edwardsville.
Born July 8, 1935, in Lilbourn, son of the late Homer and Mildred Heath Baehr, he was a journeyman electrician with Electricians Local Union 309 in Collinsville. He was a member of the Granite City Eagles F.O.E. 1126.
On Oct. 31, 1959, in Lilbourn, he married Betty Lou Reid, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Ellen Borchers and Janice Baehr of Granite City; two brothers, Danny Baehr of Lilbourn and Steve Baehr of Sikeston, Mo.; one sister, Rosemary Brewer of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
One son, Edwin Brent Baehr, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City. Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Lilbourn. The Rev. Paul Hicks will officiate.
Burial will follow in Mt. Mounds Cemetery in New Madrid.
