Millie Head

PRUDENVILLE, Mich. -- Millie E. Head, 83, died Sept. 16, 2002, at Genesy Health Park.

Born Sept. 18, 1918, in Painton, Mo., daughter of the late William and Winnie Barker Lagrand, she had lived in Flint for 40 years and 12 years in Prudenville.

In 1942, she married John W. Head who preceded her in death in 1977.

Survivors include: two sons, Williams "Loy" Head and Gorden R. Head; two daughters, Caren L. Adams and Janice M. Eble; one brother, Marvin Vernon Lagrand of Chaffee, Mo.; one sister, Faye Heath of Chaffee; and eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one grandson, one brother and three sisters.

Services were held Sept. 20 in Sharp Funeral Chapel.

Burial was in Flint.
