Ossie Snider

SCOTT CITY - Ossie Marie Snider, 84, died Dec. 5, 2002, at Parkland Hospital in Farmington.

Born April 23, 1918, at Stuttgart, Ark., daughter of the late James Henry and Minnie Lee Norman Montgomery, she was a member of the Illmo Baptist Church for 58 years.

On June 11, 1944, at Cape Girardeau, she married Clarence Earl Snider who preceded her in death on June 19, 1997.

Survivors include: one son, James Snider of Miami, Fla.; and nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Two sons and one daughter also preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Dennis Bell, officiating.

Burial will follow in Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.
