BENTON - Glenn Bollinger, 85, died at 5 p.m. Dec. 12, 2002, at his home.

Born Oct. 23, 1917, at Scopus, son of the late Bernie E. and Elsie Crader Bollinger, he was a farmer.

On Jan. 10, 1938, he married Alma Hooker who preceded him in death on Oct. 25, 1979.

Also preceding him in death were one son, Donald Lee Bollinger; and one brother, Dale Bollinger.

Survivors include: one grandson, Kevin Bollinger of Benton; two great-grandsons, Kyle Bollinger and Cole Bollinger of Benton; his daughter-in-law, Sonnie Bollinger of Benton; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Leona Bollinger of Bethalto, Ill., Roy and Christine Bollinger of Blodgett and Clyde and Margaret Bollinger of Festus; and three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Almeda and Addis Mayfield of St. Ann, Mary Lou and Robert Latham of Florissant and Rosalie Bollinger of Benton.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Dennis Lowe and the Rev. Dale Huff will officiate.

Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.
