MIDDLE BROOK -- Bulah Barnett Fitzgerald, 82, formerly of Morehouse and Sikeston, died March 13, 2003, at her home. Born April 7, 1920, in Parma, daughter of the late Claude and Lucy Woods Little, she was retired from Vickers Electric in St. Louis and was a member of the Morehouse Assembly of God Church. She had lived in the Morehouse and Sikeston areas before moving to Middle Brook in 1993...

MIDDLE BROOK -- Bulah Barnett Fitzgerald, 82, formerly of Morehouse and Sikeston, died March 13, 2003, at her home.

Born April 7, 1920, in Parma, daughter of the late Claude and Lucy Woods Little, she was retired from Vickers Electric in St. Louis and was a member of the Morehouse Assembly of God Church. She had lived in the Morehouse and Sikeston areas before moving to Middle Brook in 1993.

On July 26, 1937, she married William Taft Barnett who preceded her in death Feb. 20, 1991.

She then married Leslie "Ken" Fitzgerald Nov. 21, 1992, in Morehouse, and he survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two brothers, Troy Little of Morehouse and Leo Little of East Prairie; two sisters, Velva Hankins of Morehouse and Mary Hicks of Florissant; two stepsons, Robert Fitzgerald of Middle Brook and Tom Fitzgerald of St. Peters; one stepdaughter, Geraldine Meyers of Wood River, Ill.; and 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Taft Udel "Dale" Barnett, on March 4, 1975, and one daughter, Delores Costella in 1939.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. John Goss of Morehouse will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.
