Mary Haney

DEXTER -- Mary Alice Haney, 64, died Oct. 16, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Aug. 26, 1940, in Pyletown, daughter of the late Harley and Norma Dowdy Jennings, she was a former employee of Paramount Hat Manufacturing Co. in Dexter.

On May 29, 1959, at Dexter, she married Joe Haney who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Timmy Haney of Dexter and Ronnie and Georgia Haney of Dexter; one daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Mike Massey of Parker, Kan.; two brothers, Marvin Jennings and Harlin Jennings of Waterford, Mich.; one sister, Doris Helms of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. today until time for services at 1 p.m. at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. John Haney will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
