Betty Brannock

DEXTER - Betty Joe Brannock, 78, died Aug. 16, 2003, at the Kindred Hospital in St. Louis.

Born Oct. 12, 1924, in Dexter, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Mildred Neal Young.

Survivors include: three sons, James Brannock of Sandia Park, N.M., Gordon Brannock of Albuquerque, N.M., and Neal Brannock of St. Cloud, Fla.; one daughter, Rachel Ann Ament of St. Cloud; three brothers, Jerry Lee Young of Cape Girardeau, Larry D. Young of Quitman, Texas, and Dennis Dale Young of Buie, Texas; one sister, Mariedda Lou Atherton of Dexter; and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. Tuesday until time for a memorial service at 2 p.m. at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Don Cooper will officiate.

Burial will follow at a later date.
