SIKESTON -- Young area readers have a chance to receive free tickets to the Barnes and Carson 5-Ring Circus.
The Sikeston Public Library is sponsoring a program called "Read to Earn," which will give children through age 11 an opportunity to earn free circus tickets by reading. Each participant will be required to read five books and may pick up their reading log at the library during library hours.
Also, on behalf of the Area Chamber of Commerce and Carson and Barnes Circus, the Sikeston Public Library has received a video called "Four Legged Friends." This film features the Carson and Barnes Circus animals.
