SIKESTON -- Betty Sue Beck, 70, died March 20, 2005, at the Miner Nursing Center in Miner.
Born July 4, 1934, in Haleyville, Ala., daughter of the late George and Vesta Elizabeth Allison McBroom, she was a member of the Smith Avenue Church of God in Sikeston.
Two daughters, Kathy Neece and Judy Babb; two brothers, Bobby McBroom and Willard McBroom; one sister, Ruth Sides; and one grandson, Joseph McCaustland, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Paula Beck of Sikeston; three daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Terry McCaustland of Clinton, Utah, and Jeanie and Robbie Robinson and Doris and Wayne Smith of Sikeston; three sisters, Ruby Tittle of Lynn, Ala., Doris Milton of Ingleside, Texas, and Clara Cochran of Florida; 14 grandchildren, James Beck, Missy Burns, Christopher Babb, Cecil Babb, Bart Smith, Michelle Beck, Shane Beck, Roger Beck Jr. and Tonya Beck of Sikeston, Jennifer Wilderman and Jonathan McCaustland of California, Christy Murffet, Charles Neece and Karina Aquirre of Colorado; and 29 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Ira Sandifer, pastor of Smith Avenue Church of God, the Rev. Bobby J. Burns Jr. and the Rev. Jack Burns will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
