SIKESTON -- William A. Morgan, 91, died March 19, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Born March 23, 1913, in Polk County, Ark., son of the late William Sherman and Presh Bolin Morgan, he had worked for Frisco Railroad as a section foreman before retiring. SIKESTON -- William A. Morgan, 91, died March 19, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born March 23, 1913, in Polk County, Ark., son of the late William Sherman and Presh Bolin Morgan, he had worked for Frisco Railroad as a section foreman before retiring. He was a member of the Parker Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Brotherhood of Maintenance Way Employees.

On Aug. 22, 1932, he married Lillian Estell Satterfield who preceded him in death on May 23, 1992.

On July 5, 2000, he married Glenell "Nan" Curtis who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three daughters, Marilyn Abbott and Lula Bosworth of Memphis, Tenn., and Annette Evans of Sikeston; and 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

One son, Dana Morgan; and one daughter, Diane Ledbetter, also preceded him in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Joseph Hooper, retired Pentecostal minister, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
