Jennings McEntire
CHARLESTON - Jennings Bryan "Tree" McEntire, 65, died at 9:01 p.m. March 18, 2005, at the Bertrand Nursing Center.
Born Nov. 12, 1939, at Walnut Ridge, Ark., to the late Jess and Jewell Irene Holder McEntire, he lived most of his life in Charleston where he was a member of the Charleston Church of Christ.
Surviving are: two brothers, Jessie McEntire of Charleston and Russell McEntire of East Prairie; three sisters, Nadine Brady of Charleston, Flossie Hurst of Bono, Ark., and Mary Chappell of Sikeston; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Tommie Joe McEntire, Brooks McEntire, Cecil McEntire and Howard McEntire; two sisters, Marcella Murphy and a sister who died in infancy; and one half-brother, Charles H. McEntire.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. Tuesday until time for services at 1 p.m. at the McMikle Funeral Home. Daniel Bell, minister of the Charleston Church of Christ, and Bill Bradley, minister of the Morley Church of Christ, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Aubrey, Delois Brady, Jimmy Aubrey, Robert Murphy, Tony Waldrape and Steve McClanahan.
Honorary pallbearer will be Chasity Danielle Aubrey.
