Evelyn Mast

EAST PRAIRIE - Evelyn Agnes Mast, 91, died at 5:10 p.m. Aug. 10, 2003, at the St. Peters Manor Nursing Center.

Born July 8, 1912, in New Madrid, daughter of the late William and Cecelia Beaher Smith, she lived in East Prairie most of her life and was of the Presbyterian belief.

On Nov. 16, 1930, she married Claude Joe Mast who preceded her in death on April 29, 1974.

Survivors include: one son, Jimmy Mast of Little Rock, Ark.; two daughters, Donna Fiscus of O'Fallon and Lois Bates of St. Charles; two grandsons, Jimmy Mast and Eddie Mast of St. Louis; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving dog, Snowball.

Six brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.

Visitation is from noon Wednesday until service time at 1 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
