PUXICO - June Kelley, 73, died Aug. 11, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Dec. 28, 1929, in Puxico, daughter of the late Thurma and Irene Edwards Kitchen, she lived in St. Louis for 35 years before moving to Puxico. She was a restaurant manager for Uncle Bill's Pancake House in St. Louis and had been a cashier at Bill's Market for 14 years before retiring. A member of Puxico VFW Post 7822 Ladies Auxiliary, she attended the First Christian Church of Puxico.

On Aug. 30, 1947, in St. Louis, she married Russell Kelley who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Russell Kelley Jr. of St. Louis; one daughter, Deborah Henson of St. Louis; two foster sons, Leonard Kelley III and Karl Kelley of St. Louis; one foster daughter, Monica Stevens of Virginia; one brother, Gordon Martin of Wentzville; one sister, Thelma Campbell of Puxico; and two grandsons and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Wiley McGhee of Puxico will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Puxico Cemetery.
