Mary Bergen

DEXTER - Mary Frances Bergen, 64, died Oct. 14, 2003, in Dexter.

Born Dec. 24, 1938, at Clinton, Ark., daughter of Ressie Godfrey Yoder of Dexter and the late Elmer Yoder, she was a waitress at the Hickory House in Dexter for many years. She was affiliated with Faith Fellowship Church in Dexter.

In May 1966, she married Ronald Bergen who preceded her in death in December 1996.

Survivors in addition to her mother include: three sons, Edward McElroy of Dexter, Larry McElroy of Neosho and Richard Bergen of Poplar Bluff; one sister, Carolyn Shomaker of Dexter; and eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were one daughter, Susan McElroy; and one brother, Richard Yoder.

No visitation or services are scheduled.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
