Susan Jensen

HOUSTON, Texas - Susan Evans Jensen, 58, died at 6:45 a.m. Sept. 21, 2003, at her home.

Born Dec. 10, 1944, at Long Beach, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Lewis Monroe and Ethel Slack Evans. She lived in the Houston area for many years, where she was business administrator of her husband's handcrafted jewelry business. She was a member of Riceville Mount Olive Baptist Church in Houston.

On March 23, 1977, she married Greg Jensen who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Elliott and Johanna Evans of Phoenix, Ariz.; and one brother, David M. "Travis" Evans of Sand Point, Idaho.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Evans.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, Mo., where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Gerald Collier, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Charleston, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.

Pallbearers will be: Richard Hutcheson, Reginald Young, Hunter Rolwing, Bob Coon Jr., Loren Starcher and Molly Cumming.
