Jerry Washer
CHARLESTON - Jerald "Jerry" Washer, 55, died at 3:36 a.m. Oct. 3, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born March 22, 1948, in Wyatt to the late Charles Pope and Mattie Lou Barber Washer, he lived in Mississippi County most of his life. He was employed as a deck hand and was affiliated with the Baptist church.
Survivors include: two sons, Jeffrey Washer of Moberly and Charles Washer of the state of Pennsylvania; four daughters, Dana Woods of Risco, Ceshia Fish of Lyons, Ga., Mattisa Dumas of Savannah, Ga., and Lacy Washer of Orange Park, Fla.; three brothers, Donald Patterson of Sacramento, Calif., Harvey Washer of Benton and Doug Washer of Independence; one sister, Connie Damron of Thebes, Ill.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at noon Saturday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the IOOF Cemetery with the Rev. Loy Miller, pastor of the Temple of Faith General Baptist Church of Sikeston, officiating.
