Hazel Elliott

CHAFFEE - Hazel Naydean Elliott, 86, formerly of Belleville, Ill., died at 2:46 a.m. Oct. 29, 2004, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal City.

Born Aug. 24, 1918, in Zalma, daughter of the late Frank Charles and Lillie May Estes Looney, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chaffee. She was a waitress for the Mayfair Hotel and Bel Air East Motel in St. Louis before retiring.

On Oct. 4, 1942, she married Victor Wilson Elliott who preceded her in death.

Two sons, one sister and one brother also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: four nieces, Sandy Cummings and Tracy Adams of St. Louis and Donna Seabaugh and Peggy Sherrill of Jackson; and one nephew, Terry Givens of Whitewater.

No visitation is scheduled.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Blairsville Cemetery in Williamson, Ill.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
