DEXTER - James T. Moore, 88, died Oct. 29, 2004, at Cypress Point Healthcare. Born Dec. 22, 1915, in Paragould, Ark., he had been a railroad conductor for Union Pacific and Cotton Belt railroads. DEXTER - James T. Moore, 88, died Oct. 29, 2004, at Cypress Point Healthcare.

Born Dec. 22, 1915, in Paragould, Ark., he had been a railroad conductor for Union Pacific and Cotton Belt railroads. A member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter, he was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Masonic Lodges in Dexter and Hornersville and member of the Shriners.

On Nov. 23, 1990, at Dexter, he married Colleen Carter who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Jimmie S. Moore of Ocean Springs, Miss.; three stepsons, Stephen Zusman of Lafayette, Calif., Robert Zusman of Granite Bay, Calif., and John Carter of Branson; and two grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one stepgreat-grandchild.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. Monday until service time at 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Dexter.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Horner Cemetery in Hornersville. The Rev. Don Kennedy will conduct both services.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
