LAKE GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. -- The Bootheel Bassbusters held their final tournament of the year Oct. 3 and 4 at Lake Guntersville, Alabama.
Mike Estes won the tournament with a two-day total of 13 lbs., 10 oz. Mitch Allen was second with 13 lbs., 7 oz. He also took big bass honors on both days.
His catch Friday was a 3 lbs., 6 oz., bass, and he landed a 2 lbs., 15 oz., bass on Saturday. Kenny Dement took third place with 8 lbs., even.
Leven Cox came from behind in the Angler-of-the-Year race to capture first place honors with 1,499 points. Stan Pace won second place with 1,450 points and Ty Garrett took third place with 1,287 points.
