Norman Brainer
BENTON - Norman William Brainer, 73, died at 12:45 a.m. Oct. 17, 2003, at his home.
Born March 11, 1930, in Louisville, Ky., son of the late Clarence and Catherine Roehrig Brainer, he was a truck driver for Hedrick Concrete in Sikeston before retiring in 1992. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
On April 15, 1978, in East Prairie, he married Margaret "Fay" Wilson who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, J.R. Brainer of Scott City and James Brainer of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Shawn Wilson of DuQuoin, Ill., and Lori Ebersohl of Benton; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday.
Burial will follow in the Unity Baptist Cemetery at Benton.
