Margaret Little
SESSER, Ill. - Margaret Ann Elliott Little, 72, formerly of Charleston, Mo., died Sept. 26, 2003, following an extended illness.
Born Feb. 26, 1931, in Paducah, Ky., daughter of the late Hillman and Owen Barrow Hendricks, she was raised by the late Stanley T. and Eva Pearl Elliott in Charleston. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sesser and worked for the Lyn-Gai Garment Factory for more than 30 years before retiring.
On March 30, 1952, she married James E. Little who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark Elliott and Julie Little of Coshocton, Ohio, and Tracy and Lori Little of Benton, Ill.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Pete Rone of Sesser, Lisa and Alan Dunn of Pinckneyville and Carrie and Myron McCowen of Scheller; one stepson and daughter-in-law, Michael and Linda Little of Brookport; two sisters, Dorothy Carlson of Georgia and Charlotte Stuart of Colorado; several half brothers and half sisters in Kentucky and Tennessee; and 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted Sept. 29 at the Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home in Sesser with the Rev. Woody Wilson officiating.
Burial followed in the Maple Hill Cemetery at Sesser.
